Eduardo Gallardo Lara

Digital visual artist and 3D generalist from Mexico City, passionate about cinematography and philosophy, Eduardo Gallardo holds a degree in Digital Animation from SAE Institute Mexico. From 2018 to April 2021, he collaborated as a Production Assistant, Technical Advisor, and 3D Generalist on the production of the Mexican animated feature film Hanta by Atotonilco Studio, produced by Rodrigo Herranz and directed by Emilio Ramos. During the second half of 2021, he collaborated as Animation Assistant to Animation Director Andrea Robles Jiménez on an immersive audiovisual experience project.

Director and Co-Producer of the experimental animated short film, Vacuidad (2021), winner of more than 50 international awards and recognitions, highlighting his participation in the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, Chilemonos International Animation Festival, Shorts México 16, and Pixelatl Festival.

Eduardo has launched his own commercial brand and exhibition platform for animation and visual arts NOEL G.L. Philos-Ofía, sepecialized in the production and distribution of independent and author audiovisual art, but is also committed to developing high-quality original projects for a variety of fields, from advertising and cultural content to music, videos, and film projects.

He is currently a professor in the animation and visual effects degree program at Sae Institute Mexico, advising on the production of graduation short films and teaching classes and workshops on 3D modeling of hard surfaces, digital sculpture, 3D animation, 3D rigging, 3D integration for visual effects, virtual production, AI applied to visual effects, production of animated short films, design and management of animation workflows.​​
